I used this product on part of my driveway and it gives excellent results. It is very expensive and I will need another 25 litres to finish the job. Make sure to powerhouse the imprinted concrete thoroughly and let dry before applying. Two coats are definitely needed and although I applied it sparingly I was surprised how much of the sealant I used.

I only covered half the drive with sealer on the first day, the rain overnight just beaded on top of the treated half, but soaked into the untreated half. It really showed how effective the product is. Very happy.

Hi,I wanted to leave some feedback after using smartseal products recently.I had a very worn imprinted concrete driveway that had grey vehicle tracks on it. I sent photos of it to Nigel and after a brief call and exchange of emails, he sent me a quote.I'm really happy with the products and the finished result. It took a while to get the timing right with the weather but when I had a dry day that wasn't too warm in mid August, I managed to get it done.As advised, I removed all the loose bristles on the brush and it worked a treat throughout the application of the repair and sealant. I spoke to Nigel a couple of times on the phone and he was really helpful and took the time to talk me through each step.It was good to know that he was available should I have ran into problems at all.As it was, it applied really easily. The mask is a must though as the fumes are quite strong. It's been nearly a month now and the drive looks fantastic.I've had a neighbour ask where they could buy the sealant from and so have now directed them to smartseal.Before and after pictures attached.Please feel free to post the images and my comments on the website, although please don't use my surname.Regards,Chris.

Used this on wood effect concrete fence panels as a sealer and to enhance the colour of a Russet concrete stain, after advice from Nigel. Excellent delivery service. Far better coverage than anticipated. Final finish is superb and exceeded my expectations, looks just like newly stained wood.

Hi Nigel, After your superb advice, I have managed to restore my imprinted concrete as good as I possibly could, I carried out the work in sections to minimise impact on everyday activity. Some parts of the drive, as you suggested, did not come up as good as the less worn parts but still an 80% improvement. This was mainly due to the fact I had not had it coated for approx 7 years. I only wish I knew how manageable the task was 5 years ago, as it would still have looked as good as new, if I had coated it every couple of years. The result was more manageable and better quality than the "pro" guy did 7 years ago, thanks for your expert, extensive and appropriate advice. Please feel free to use this testimony if it helps. Once again excellent service from Smartseal. I used this sealant and colour 4 years ago with excellent results (in fact my drive didn't really need re-sealing just yet!) However I re-ordered and got more helpful advice and service from Nigel, and totally recommend this company and their products. A really good quality easy-to-use product, and also very fast delivery!

I used 25 litres of sealant to cover an 80 sq m drive, getting two good coats, plus a little spare to go over the cracks again - better coverage than I expected. I was concerned that the concrete was exposed and lost some colour after power-washing, but the finish is very good indeed. It was a hot day, so some bubbling, which I'll avoid in future. This was the only maintenance applied to the drive in 10-plus years, and it looks like new. Next time (in a few years) I'll put some tint in, but for now, I'm very pleased with the result. Mastic: 28m out of 4 tubes, so spot-on.

Yesterday we used your sealer, tint and grip on our driveway...the result is a superb finish, due in part to our hard work but also your great advise. To change from gloss to silk and not to add too much tint but `little by little` was the best approach. Last night it rained after a nice day and to see the water protection on the surface made all the effort worth while. Great product - second time I've used it and with a little colour tint brings the imprinted grey cobbled drive up like new. Used Ronseal concrete seal previously but this product is far superior. Only down side is passers-by keep stopping me from gardening to compliment me on the driveway and where can they get the sealant from.

Used the silk sealer along with the anti slip additive for second coat. Really impressed, drive looks like new and yes we have already had rain to prove anti slip works. Sealer kit good for job. The only disappointment was the brush, just would not stop shedding bristles, gave up and went back to roller as spent more time picking out the shed 'hairs'. Would recommend all but the brush.

I found the Smartseal quite easy to apply using a sweeping brush. The colour tint took a bit mixing, but it came out nice and even when applied.

Great product, followed the instructions on the video and everything went as it should have, also used the anti slip additive to help with the slope of the drive, Drive looks good even though it's 15 years old, will definitely use the Smartseal products again when the drive next requires sealing

I do garden maintenance mainly, but an elderly customer wanted his imprinted concrete driveway tidied up, I agreed & started by power washing the whole area first, then I took to google & found a number of companies that did sealers for imprinted concrete. I chose Smartseal as they were competitive, but mainly because they did 25L containers plus a brush small enough that would fit directly into the container, added bonus I feel. I bought 3 X 25L Silk, with a view to giving it 2 coats, I used 1.5 of the containers today. The product went on really well with the recommended brush, 3 hours non stop & the drive is transformed. It has a lovely new finish to it now, the customer is delighted. I shall return to give it a second coat next week, which shouldn't take as long! I would recommend this product.

Just like most other comments, this product has transformed my driveway which I had neglected, if your prepared to do a bit of hard work you can save yourself some money in not having to pay a contractor to do it

Needed to be done on 3 yr old imprinted driveway. Considered contractor but decided to do myself and glad I did . Job worked out well, easy to apply, quick to dry and re-coat. Came up good.

We inherited an imprinted concrete patio and driveway when we moved in 14 years ago. It hadn't been properly looked after and we had had it resealed by professionals 8 years ago, which made it look a bit better but not much. Much of the colour had worn away and the surface was pitted in places. Spoke to Nigel who gave me very detailed instructions on what to buy and how to apply it. The result has been a simply miraculous transformation. From looking a patchy mess the patio and driveway are now a consistent, rich dark slate grey, major damage is hardly noticeable and minor damage has disappeared. Even the builders doing next door's extension have remarked on the transformation! Really top quality products and sound advice from someone who clearly knows what they're doing. 2 days work and worked out at just over 3 quid a square metre. Brilliant!

Fantastic! My drive and patio is almost 4 years old. I had some cowboys earlier this year to jet spray and re seal, but they used a water based sealant, and it hasn't even lasted a season! This product is excellent, it covers easily, and has made my drive look like it did the day it was layed. I decided to do it myself to save money, and following Smartseal instructions have created a perfect job. Thanks, and can't wait 'till next time it needs doing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This sealer is excellent .25 later covered a large drive with two coats and the result was fantastic . Easy to follow instructions on the product and the finish made my 4 year old drive as good as new. Ensure you wear a mask and gloves as product very toxic and recommend a brush for a more even result . Certainly worth the money as I think looks better than when first laid with an inferior product

My drive was 2 years old and cracking in places. The silk finish was excellent and gave a good appearance. Done three coats to use it all up. Very pleased with the outcome. Only tip I would give is avoid leaving puddles. Found a coarse roller was better for this than the broom.

Very pleased so far. I did not realise how tired our black drive was looking (4 yrs old) until I finished re-coating it. I put in the anti-slip compound but don't yet know how effective it will be, nor how long the coating will last. Good service.

used this product on my drive with the charcoal colour, my drive is pretty old concrete and this has made it look amazing I had it recoulored professionally last year and that was nowhere near as good as it is now that I have done it myself with smart seal products very happy

Used this product over the weekend. The drive was starting to look shabby and needed sealing after 6 years. Applied 2 coats and used a minute amount of brick coloured tint. The drive looks like new again. I still have enough to seal again in few years. So pleased :)

I bought the sample colour powder, and a 5 leters or smart seal. I am delighted with both products, one application, and my driveway looks as new. I shall shop at smartseal again.

Easy product to apply and dried in no time at all I mixed the anti slip to this and was easy too. My drive so as good as it did when it was new and is the first seal it's had in five years so two coats only did the job. Fantastic product well pleased.

Ordered the silk imprinted concrete sealer plus the slate grey tint. The original drive colour was classic grey, so I picked the colour that was the nearest to it, and it was spot on. The drive was in good condition, it just needed resealing with a bit of colour added. I ordered the 25ltr size, but only used 10ltr, and that was giving it two coats. I added two tablespoons of tint a little at a time, stirring all the time it was being added to the 10ltr's of sealer as advised by Smartseal. After the first coat was done, I added another two tablespoons to the 5ltr's that was left, and second coated it, and the colour is now like it was originally. Tip:- whilst my husband was brushing the sealer on I continually stirred the sealer to make sure the tint was distributed evenly. The drive looks fantastic, the sealer is a great product and I would highly recommend it. I have plenty of sealer and tint left for further use, and Smartseal advised me of where, and how to store it. Thanks for all your advise and quick delivery, unfortunately due to the weather conditions we have only just completed the reseal.

Initially made contact with the Smartseal team from Saudi to request advice and information. Spoke to Luke and Nigel both very knowledgable and helpful. Ordered the materials online which was very easy, and then went to UK on vacation where all items had arrived. Pressure washed my drive and patio and then did a test using the color tint I purchased. Wasn't keen on the tint, so decided just to reseal. Applied two coats with the anti slip mixed into top (second) coat and delighted with the results. The surface looks as good as new. Would have no hesitation in recommending 'the Smartseal experience', particular thanks to Nigel. 5 stars from me guys, well done! Best regards Ian Farrow

Great service from Nigel, helpful all the way. The only thing I would suggest to any one considering sealing their driveway for the first time is don't seal it if a baking hot day is forecast even if you do start at 5 in the morning and finish by 9.30 as there is a risk of blistering and bubbling which can affect the the look of the finished product. Far better to do the job on a dry day without much sunshine. Products excellent though and so was the service.

My five year old drive now looks like new. Sealer easy to use and in this warm weather was dry within two hours. Positive comments from neighbours on a new drive.

Excellent, quick delivery service. I used an old soft sweeping brush and tested a small area first to see how much sealant was needed - I had assumed 5m2/litre, and ordered 2x25 litres for two coats of a fairly large area (125m2?) - difficult to measure exactly as it's a complex shape - but I found it spread quite a bit better than that, and I used only one drum for the two coats. Because I had to apply the sealant in sections, my brush dried solid during "down" times, but seemed to soon become flexible enough when re-used. With hindsight I should have bought 3 or 4 cheap brush heads before I started. The finish (with "silk" sealant) is really brilliant - quite glossy enough. The drive was only installed a year ago (by people I would NEVER employ again) and the surface was looking tired. Don't know how well this new surface will last but I'm quietly confident it will last well.

My imprinted concrete drive was laid 21 years ago, and apart from jet washing from time to time, I have done nothing to it. Consequently there were many cracks. I bought repair compound, colour compound, sealant and anti-slip additive, followed the instructions and was amazed by the result. It has saved me having to pay for a new drive, which I thought was going to be the only choice. It's not perfect, but I think if I re-apply the sealant in a few years time it will be better still. I shall certainly use your products in the future.

Ordering couldn't have been simpler. Delivery was very quick. Seal went on very easily with a 4" brush and brought back the original colour. Very pleased with the outcome and won't hesitate to use again next time. The only negative is that it doesn't come in a 10ltr can.

Excellent product the coverage was good better than the estimates on the tin it was easy to apply and dried well I could do two applications in one day. The finish is good and doesn't look unaturally shiny, I would definitely use the product again.

Recently bought sealer, repair fluid,colour and anti slip to finally deal with my badly installed impressed concrete drive. Made a nuisance of myself ringing the team at Smart Seal for advice and plucked up courage to do the job last week-end. Results; It will never be perfect but it is much better than the last two 'professional' reseals that were done. Thanks to all the guys at Smart Seal for their patience and good advice. Ordered silk finish sealant to revitalise my 6 year old drive. After a thorough jet wash and two coats of sealant it is as good as new. Application of the product was straightforward and I am pleased with the result, the colour of the drive is restored to that of when first laid and I am glad that I chose silk finish which suits the finish I was hoping for.

Used the silk finish which has quite a shine to it ,very easy to use,put it on with a roller beautiful finish better than when it was new 18 months ago .only down side is the pungent smell .Next day delivery excellent .

I purchased the silk sealer and coated the driveway with two coats of the product using a yard brush. The result was fantastic, the drive looks like new again!

I applied it with a roller, which was very quick, made it easy to ensure uniform coverage and left no brush marks. Second coat was quicker still. Drive restored to its original condition.

Second time I have used this product, this time with colouring. Good advice from smartseal as the slate grey does not need a lot of colouring adding. Used the broom this time to keep the product mixed and although I used more than using a roller the finish is excellent.

Brilliant drive and patio look like new .patio is impression that looks like decking and now using the brown powder in the sealer the wooden grain looks better than when it was originally done,delivery time was early and the very next day ,thanks.

I required this product for my patio and driveway and which also required a bit of repairing here and there. Wow! What a product, what a finish! My imprinted concrete drive was laid 10 years ago and hasn't been touched since. I applied three coats of the silk sealant and the drive looks better than when it was originally laid. Perfect finish!!! I had 125 sq m to reseal after 7 years. I was advised I would need 3 x 25L tins. I bought 2 and only used 1 for two coats. Seems to go further than advertised. Applied it with brooms from Pound shop which could be thrown away after. Its done a good job, looks as new. Used the silk finish which is quite glossy anyway, think gloss would be too much.

Superb product, easily & quickly applied, completely delighted with overall finish. Prompt delivery, and excellent, friendly technical advice. Overall rating = 5 The sealer was applied to a pattern imprinted concrete drive & patio (approx. 120m sq. m) that was only laid 18 months ago, but unfortunately we think the contractor only applied one coat of sealer, since the colour & overall appearance had faded somewhat. Following addtional sealer application it has all come up like new!

It is simple to use, "does what it says on the tin". Have applied the first sealer coat and tint, just need another dry day to apply the top coat with the anti-slip addative. One good tip, do not wear black rubber sole shoe/boots when applying the sealer, unless you are good at keeping your feet well out of the way unless you want black footprints in your finish.

excellent advice given by Nigel to begin with, so i knew exactly what i needed to buy to complete the job, really fast delivery to northern ireland, and when we got decent weather to do the sealer we were left with a beautiful patio area, even better than when it was done orginally, would recommend smartseal and would use them again, and thanks Nigel for your great advice.

Customer service was fantastic, I was called by SmartSeal on my mobile several times prior to dispatch of item/s and the advise was accurate and excellent. The 25L tin of Silk Sealer has left my drive looking like new. Second time I have used this product (last purchased in 2009) product and service was same then. sealer easy to apply with excellent results, 2 coats applied and the drive looks like new. I had doubts about doing the reseal job myself but was very pleased with the products supplied and the cost was a quarter what I had been quoted professionally. Hi Nigel Further to our telephone conversation and emails of 25/26 July I am pleased to say that having followed your advice my driveway now looks as good as new; in fact my wife says it's better than when new! My only disappointment is the translucent silicone sealant which in my opinion is too white and prominent against the grey concrete. I didn't actually have enough sealant to finish the job so I bought another brand locally and whilst is said translucent on the tube it turned out to be more like clear and I must say it blends in much better. So it's now a case of removing and resealing I'm afraid. That's life eh! Never the less I am still very grateful for your help and extremely pleased with your excellent service and products. Fantastic product my drive now looks like new, what a finish, I am so pleased. I was dubious about using a broom to apply the product but it was so easy and straightforward. After 5 or 6 years of constant use the printed concrete driveway was showing signs of wear as the original sealer had worn through and the colour of the concrete was showing through so a call was made to Smart Seal giving the details and the size of the area we sent photos of the drive and in return we wore advised on the amount of sealer the correct colouring agent and how to clean and apply the sealer . The order was placed the complete kit arrived in a couple of days . After the prep work and on a worm day the sealer was applied and then a week later a second coat was also applied and now the drive looks shinny and new again , The sealer is so easy to apply and the Finnish is amazing i am very pleased with the whole service and i would recommend Smart Seal .

I just want to send you some feedback on what i can only describe as amazing service and an amazing product!!! The 25L of pattern imprinted concrete sealer arrived promptly and i applied it onto the driveway and it has brought it up as good as new, i was so impressed at the ease of use and the results that i got. I recently made an enquiry re help to correct a badly installed imprinted concrete drive. The surface had flaked badly exposing uncoloured concrete and had cracks in several places. I spoke to Nigel who requested photographs of the drive and he then gave me excellent advice and identified the products and quantities I would need. Without any guarantee of success, Nigel felt confident that I would be able to get the drive back to approximately 90% of where it should be. During the period of time that I spent carrying out the repair work, I rang Nigel at each stage for his advice. He was very patient with me and very knowledgeable with the products. He also kept his word every time to ring back if he was busy when I called. From start to finish, a very professional experience, with a friendly and patient attitude. Nigel hoped for a 90% result, he has certainly achieved that. Compared to how the drive looked more like 200%. Your products all worked easily and as they were supposed to. The imprinted sealer was very good but the sweeping brush did not work very well as the bristles came out into the sealer i found that a roller was better for the job

Our pattern imprinted driveway started to look faded and had small sections of exposed concrete from a couple of harsh winters and general wear and tear. I found Smartseal on the internet and decided to order the repair compound, colour tint and silk sealant. The staff answered a couple of queries I had by e-mail the same day and the goods arrived within two days. I found the video on Smartseal's website invaluable and we followed the instructions to the letter. We have now given our driveway three coats and I can only say it looks better now than when it was newly laid ! Neighbours have been coming over to admire it ! I can't recommend Smartseal enough for their products and customer service and I will be using your products again when the need arises. I will also recommend you to friends. It's just a pity we can't upload photos on this website to show potential buyers just how good the end result is.

Having just had my old imprinted concrete drive pressure washed and looking clean but well worn I thought I ought to seal it. I found your product on the internet but ordered over the phone (you can't ask questions of a web page). The advice I got was first class and ensured a good result. The only thing they got wrong was the delivery time - it arrived just 24 hours after I placed the order!

Have used this product several time and it delivers excellent results.

Great product, very easy to use and apply, drys quick, did as instructed re-aplied 2nd coat after 4hrs, the 25ltr container allowed me to do 2 coats of sealer on approx 75 sq mts, my 4 year old pattern concrete looks brand new now. Tip - make sure to read all the instuctions before using the product 1st, my only mistake was I did it on a hot day and got the odd bubble forming on the joints where the sealer was at its thickest, no problem really. All-In-all very Happy, Great Service :-)

The finished drive looks a good as new - not bad for an 18 year old drive with lots of spalling concrete that was last resealed about 12 years ago. The service from SmartSeal was excellent - good advice and fast delivery. The colour tint, repair material and and anti-slip all worked well.

my drive was looking sad after 3 years of traffic...it came up like new after the sealer was applied...an easy job with a soft yardbrush. coverage was about 25% better than suggested, so Ive got some left for the future. thanks for the service.

This product is amazingly easy to apply and a second coat can be added after a couple of hours. I applied it with a couple of old dustpan brushes that I wanted shot of. No good after but didn't matter. Brought up the drive beautifully. Will happily use SmartSeal again. Their customer service was second to none. Many thanks.

I ordered last Thursday 25 litres of Silk Finish sealant for our imprinted concrete large patio area and it arrived before 09.00 hrs today (Tuesday). We have this afternoon just finished applying two coats and we are absolutely delighted with the result. It looks as good as new which is wonderful considering it was laid over 5 yrs ago and not been treated since then. We have now got the incentive to do our driveway & front of the house which is cobblestone printed concrete. This needs a bit of slate grey colour to mix with the silk finish clear sealant we have left. I have today ordered the colour and look forward to treating the front cobblestone area. I want to thank Smartseal for the prompt and friendly service & technical support which is most helpful and very much appreciated. The product with the tint and non slip went on very well and dried quicker than we expected ( about 2 hrs) although we had some bubbles especially along the imprinted creases in the driveway. What level of tint to add is though a little trial & error but we overall have a quality finish
