Description
Waterproofing and Damproofing protective Cream for bricks, walls, stone and masonry
Highly effective penetrating sealing product for natural stone walls and brickwork.
ClimashieldTM Protective Masonry Cream is a VOC and solvent free protective treatment that creates a powerful water repellent barrier on all untreated porous substrates. The masonry cream is designed to deeply penetrate into the substrate and provide 25 yr+ protection against damp and moisture ingress. The masonry cream works by sealing the porous voids, whilst still leaving the substrate breathable so moisture can still escape.
Unlike water resistant paints, coatings or low quality sealing products ClimashieldTM Protective Masonry Cream will provide long term protection, without changing the look of the wall or brick. Application is easy by brush or roller with no specialist skills required.
ClimashieldTM Protective Masonry Cream can be applied as a highly effective additional barrier to within an existing or planned flood protection system.
By helping to keep walls dry, Climashield Masonry Cream is also proven to increse the thermal efficiency. Average savings of approx. 6% can be expected on most properties, with savings as high as 29%, if the masonry cream is combined with other heat saving technologies.
Technical
Material Composition:
A low Viscous white cream primarily utilising Advanced Silane/Siloxane chemistry.
COVERAGE:
For best results, apply generously allowing complete saturation. On most types of brickwork, coverage of around 5m2 per kg is to be expected. On stone walls and specialist bricks, coverage up to 10m2 per kg is to be expected..
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Store sealed in a cool place away from direct sunlight. Only remove the correct amount of product required and replace the lid, this helps prevent contamination from bacteria or other harmful spores.. Once opened, use entire contents as soon as possible.
APPLICATION:
Apply by roller or paint brush. One heavy application is all that is required. Allow the cream to properly penetrate and absorb into the substrate. This generally takes only around within 30 minutes, but can take several hours, dependent on temperature and surface porosity. Once fully cured, the wall, brick, stone or masonry will have a clear dry/invisible finish.
