Well explained by the smartseal team before purchase. I was using it inside a chalet style build I have. I was hoping for a darker finish, but that has nothing to do with the product. Did two coats of 25 square meters with one 5 litre can so have a full can left. https://youtu.be/ml3zzAKkzbY

I have brought 3 25lt drums and have to get one more drum to finish my yard with it being so big . Up to yet it looks great had a lot of rain over weekend and it just runs off it .

cons- The 5 litre container was very badly damaged, but not actually leaking, surprisingly. I hope it dose not leak in time. pros- excellent service, and excellent product.

My driveway has been down for 18 years was badly neglected. After calling Smartseal and discussing the details and sending photos I received a full itemised quotation of everything I would need. The order arrived the day after being placed and the finished result is amazing, it looks better that I could have hoped for. I have had new garage and car port installed, but the concrete base wasn't sealed. I had been looking at many products that seems expensive for the area that I needed to cover, and then I found Smartseal. Ordered and delivered quickly, and went on easily with a roller. Only had it down a few days but it looks like it's going to last. Great product. Thanks

Great product, works a treat
I found your website on Google while looking for a solution to the problems I was having with sealer peeling off my concrete imprinted driveway. I spoke to Nigel who asked me to send photographs of the drive whch I did. He quickly identified the problem, which it turned out, was caused by too much release being applied by the original installer, and the sealant was not adhering to the concrete as a result. He talked me through the problem and the solution step by step, and supplied the products to remedy the situation. He couldn't have been more helpful. I am a clerk not a concrete installer, but I followed each step carefully and hopefully turned the problem around. I also saved money by doing the work myself. A word of advice for anyone considering a patterned concrete driveway - the work was done by a friend of a friend, so always have the work done professionally by a recommended installer. Concrete Sealer for External surfaces (solvent based)
Sealer for concrete drives, industrial floors and paths
Our sealer for external concrete is designed to protect concrete from all forms of deterioration. Smartseal concrete sealer should only be applied to concrete slabs that have been laid at least 7 days. A durable hard wearing sealer for driveways & other areas of hardstanding concrete. Also used as a garage floor sealer and concrete dustproofer.

Approximate Coverage
3 to 5m2 per litre per coat dependent on nature of concrete and method of application. For best results, apply 2 coats, if being used solely as a dustproofer, 1 coat is normally adequate. Clean tools with Smartseal Cleaning Fluid.
ENSURE SUITABLE SAFETY WEAR, MASK, GLOVES and GOGGLES are worn at all times during use of product.
Technical
Application
Only apply to clean surfaces that are totally dry. Apply with a solvent resistant sprayer unit, paint brush or roller, Avoid over application and pooling. Two coats of concrete sealer are recommended, leave at least 2 hours between coats, can be re-applied at anytime.
Do not use deicing salts on areas concrete sealer has been applied. Salt chemically damages the surface, will reduce lifespan and damage the sealer allowing water ingress. Subsequent freezing may result in the concrete ‘seal’ being broken by the expansion of water as it freezes and white ‘pitted’ areas may become visible.
Technical & Test Data
Smartseal Concrete Sealer has been independently tested by the TRL (Transport Research Laboratory) It is certified that it reaches the standard of SRV (Skid Resistance Value) for concrete paved surfaces used by local authority for pedestrian and vehicular use. Copies available on request.
Health & Safety
Recommended for external use only, contains flammable liquid. Do not smoke. Ensure application is well ventilated. Wear respirator , gloves and goggles when applying. Must be stored in dry, cool place. Flash point 42°C (Abel-Closed Cup). For further information, see Health & Safety Data Sheet.
