The package i recived did not have "Solvent Free" on label as image on web page... also does not state on back of contianer , hoping this is food safe as that is what i requiered.

Really easy to apply sealer with a roller and dried quickly. Seems to be working - the water and dirt no longer soak into the concrete slab.

Really great product. Used for a DIY concrete kitchen worktop and it was perfect as it is food safe which is very hard to find in the UK. No fumes at all and very easy application. Didn't change the appearance of the concrete at all but there is no more dust / erosion of the surface. Couldn't have been easier or better for the purpose. Well worth the money. Customer service was fantasic too, they were very helpful over the phone and delivery was quick and efficient

I had no idea what would be the best product to use to seal our newly cleaned patio and so I called Smartseal for advice. Protective concrete sealer for walls, floors and concrete worktops. The product is Food Safe.
Our Premium concrete sealer offers enhanced protection to concrete surfaces. It is very effective as a concrete floor sealer and provides increased stain resistance from oil stains and other surface contaminants. Premium concrete sealer is a clear concrete sealer that once cured will not alter the appearance of the surface it has been applied to.
Our high quality premium concrete sealer changes the chemical structure of porous concrete substrates. This creates an oil, stain and water resistant membrane. Application of the sealer will not change the appearance of the concrete and importantly remains moisture vapour permeable.
Our Premium Concrete Sealer is specified by architects and surveyors for concrete sealing applications to all types of commercial and industrial projects.
This internal impregnating concrete sealant is easy to apply and safe to use. It is compliant to the latest REACH regulations which means it can be safely used around foodstuffs and animals. This sealer is hard wearing and internally a lifespan of up to 10 years is expected with a 2 coat 'wet on wet' application.
Once dry, the superior concrete sealer not change the appearance of the concrete.

Technical
Premium Concrete Sealer (solvent free) suitable for porous walls, masonry, facades and floors, protects against soiling. Surfaces treated with Smartseal impregnating concrete sealer will remain cleaner longer, reducing cleaning costs.

Apply by paint brush, sprayer or roller, average coverage 4 - 6 mē per litre.
Apply one coat to saturation or a 2nd 'wet on wet' coat for best results. After minimum 45 minutes (once touch dry) and before fully cured (within 24 hours) apply 2nd coat, if you wish.
Very pleased with Smartseal. Apart from strong smell the cleaner seems to be effective. Hopefully will eliminate powerwsshing patio every year to get rid of algae marks and stains. Only time will tell.
